Water Tank Insulation

Oxford

Tank Insulation Pre .jpg

THE TASK

In this case study, Tank Reline were called to a renowned college in Oxford to carry out a series of cold-water tank remedials that had been identified in a recent risk assessment. The works included insulation of the water tanks, replacement ball valves, new isolation valves and a full system clean and disinfection.

College        2 Day Completion Time

PHASE ONE

Our team replaced the inlet and outlet butterfly valves to ensure the tanks could be safely isolated for maintenance. To reduce the risks posed by Legionella and to maintain compliance, our engineers then supplied and installed bespoke insulation jackets to three cold water storage tanks on site.

PHASE TWO

Each of the tanks then had a new WRAS-approved, stainless steel drop-arm ball valve installed, to ensure accurate level control could be maintained. The tanks were then drained, cleaned and disinfected before being returned to service. All works were completed out of hours to ensure minimal disruption to site.

Professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. These are the main things I'd associate with Tank Reline. We've used them for a number of our complex projects and their quality has never failed to impress us.
